“AP sources: Guantanamo might not close by January

WASHINGTON — The White House acknowledged for the first time Friday that it might not be able to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay by January as President Barack Obama has promised.
It has been a while my fellow metal heads. Exciting things happening at KZSC with the start of the Fall quarter. New musics are coming out too that are awesome. I’m sitting in a meeting where we are talking about our future and stuff so I’m going to go now…
As a few of you may have heard, one of our dear student DJs, Austin Plummer died last Sunday
in a mountain climbing accident at Yosemite. DJ Austintacious hosted the glam rock fabulous show “Boys Like Girls” last Spring and “Stuck in the Garage”, a garage rock show this summer. He was a wonderful addition to our station and we’re all very sorry to see him go so soon. This Thursday on the regularly scheduled Stuck in the Garage, we’ll be airing some highlights from previous shows of his, playing some songs in his memory, and wishing him a peaceful journey on.
