Three musicians pose by a marina with sailboats. The man on the left holds an acoustic guitar, a woman stands in the center smiling, and the man on the right holds a resonator guitar. All are casually dressed.

Los Primos of Santa Cruz will be visiting the KZSC studios during the “Backroads” folk show on Sunday afternoon, March 6, 2016. This trio excels in the performance of traditional Mexican music, including boleros, polkas, valses, mariachi and other styles. They’ll be sharing stories and playing and singing live on the air in advance of their matinee show at Don Quixote’s in Felton, CA the following week (Sunday, March 13th at 2pm). Members of the band include Ray Mendoza (guitar), Carly Bliman (vocals), and Paul Candelaria (mandolin). Tune in to “Backroads” every Sunday from noon-2pm as we introduce you to folk and acoustic country music off the beaten path.
