There’s someone I can’t stop thinking about… Michael Silver, aka CFCF.
An electronic musician, composer, and DJ, CFCF makes ambient and dance music that feels cold, tactile, and hypnotic, while also pumping out master class remixes. Since hearing his 2021 album “memoryland”, I have been slightly obsessed with CFCF and seem to return time and time again to his work. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him DJ this past summer, and the strange experience of meeting him and eating cheese sticks in an office room with him – not only is he talented, but he’s a chill dude. As we get into colder weather, this kind of electronic music feels fitting, mysterious, and guiding. I highly recommend “memoryland” and the remixed “memoryland enhanced”.
