Sc PercolatorsThe Santa Cruz Percolators will be on the air at KZSC during the Backroads folk show on Sunday (5/24/15, between noon-2pm) for an interview and some live music. The Percolators play a variety of traditional dance music from around the world, featuring melodies from Appalachia, Quebec, Trinidad, Haiti, and Puerto Rico. The band includes long-time Santa Cruz residents Laurie Rivin (fiddle), Janet Dows (concertina), and Paul Rangell (guitar). Their upcoming concert and dance on Wednesday (5/27/15) at Don Quixote’s in Felton, CA will celebrate the release of their new CD “Step Out.”
