One of my favorite music events of the year is back this Memorial Day weekend in Bradley, California. Lightning in a Bottle has hosted KZSC for the past two years and this year it has returned with an amazing lineup. I remember walking through The Quarry after my mentorship with DJ Abraham of KZSC’s Strictly Rockers and running into a free concert held by the talented Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals in 2015. Now three years later, Anderson .Paak is headlining Lightning in a Bottle this May 23rd to 28th, 2018!
The lineup this year includes Zhu, Griz, The Glitch Mob, Sofi Tukker, Walker & Royce and so many other talented acts. Along with the three main stages, the festival also has four bars throughout the grounds that house incredible DJ acts all night long to keep you grooving and moving.
Lightning in a Bottle also brings in wonderful speakers that offer talks and discussions, workshops, yoga, and wellness and healing sessions. My favorite is The Learning Kitchen where you can learn about different foods to nourish your body in both ancient and modern kitchen traditions. There are over 150 activities available that begin Thursday and conclude Monday May 28th.
