I had the pleasure of chatting with Shannon Taylor, singer/songwriter of the extremo punk band awakebutstillinbed, right here at the KZSC station! Based out of San Jose, awakebutstillinbed is gaining traction after the release of their first LP: “what people call low self-esteem is really just seeing yourself the way that other people see you.” They also recently signed to Tiny Engines, and will participate exciting upcoming tours. Keep a look out as they tour to SXSW and when they hit the West Coast with Joyce Manor.
awakebutstillinbed will be playing at Subrosa in Santa Cruz on Thursday, March 8th.
