Nuala Kennedy, talented flute player and singer from Dundalk on the east coast of Ireland, will be in concert for the first time in the Santa Cruz area on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Don Quixote’s International Music Hall in Felton, CA at 7:30pm. Nuala started playing traditional Irish music at the tender age of 7, going on to study the music more fully at the Edinburgh College of Art and with Cathal McConnell, flute player in the seminal Irish group Boys of the Lough. Having fronted her own band for the past four years or so, and adding her own compositions, Nuala has recently released her third CD “Noble Stranger” to great acclaim. Presented by the Celtic Society of the Monterey Bay.
