On October 21st, the Catalyst in downtown Santa Cruz was blessed with the presence of Syd, Matt Martians, Steve Lacy, and Paige Patrick the II– members of one of the hottest neo funk/soul bands today: the Internet. It was a sold out show, and the passion from the audience was undeniable. Fans throughout the venue were yelling every word– eyes glued to Syd’s hypnotizing moves and silky voice. KZSC DJ Kathy Hermosillo was there with her camera to transfer some of the magic from last Sunday night onto your computer screen, right now.
So sit back, turn on your favorite tracks from Ego Death or Hive Mind, and let yourself sink into the Internets live performance on October 21st at the Catalyst. You’ve arrived!
