This coming Friday, January 13th, UC Santa Cruz women’s basketball will host Pride Night as they take on Lincoln University of Oakland at the West Field House (Rachel Carson College) at 6:00pm. The event is a collaborative effort between the Athletics and Recreation department and the Lionel Cantú Queer Resource Center.
One hour before tip-off at 5pm there will be a pizza party tailgate and the first 120 people to attend the game will receive a free t-shirt. In addition, the UCSC Dance Team will perform at halftime.
Currently standing with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses, UC Santa Cruz women’s basketball will look to win their 11th game of the season against Lincoln University of Oakland. A team the Slugs defeated convincingly in their first matchup which ended 100-58. Entering their fifteenth game of the season, the Slugs hold an impressive record of 5-1 at home. On Friday, the Slugs will look to use their momentum at home and capture a victory on Pride Night!
